Introduction:
Embry Riddle Aeronautical University is a private co-educational university. It is an aviation institute. It was founded as the Embry Riddle Flying School in 1926. There are 2 campuses in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Prescott, Arizona. ERAU is the only aviation university which is accredited. It has a fleet of over 90 aircrafts. Embry Riddle has a curriculum which covers operation, engineering, manufacturing, management and marketing of modern aircraft. The University involves itself in research work. This is done keeping in mind the needs of aviation, aerospace, and related industries. Most of the airlines hire alumni from the ERAU, rather than any other aviation institute. Embry-Riddle is an independent, non-profit organization. Embry-Riddle provides training to Air National Guard, Air Force, and International Flight Safety officers. Embry-Riddle Florida campus is the largest residential campus. The campus has easy access to flight training.

Admission Procedures:
Online application forms are available if the students are trying for admission at ERAU. The forms can be downloaded and mailed back to them with all the necessary documents. A paper application can be obtained on request, by calling them at: 1-800-862-2416. The supporting documents that are required to be sent along with the admissions form are:

Accommodation Facilities:
Students seeking on-campus accommodation at ERAU can pay their fees online. There are around 8 residence halls. They are: Adams, Chanute, Doolittle, McKay, O’Connor, Stimpson, Wood and Apollo Halls. Each room is provided with chair and desk, chest of drawers, microwave, refrigerator, carpet, and drapers or blinds. There are campus dinning services which are a great benefit for the students as they do not have to go out of the campus for food. There are meal plans available for which the students can register themselves.
