Introduction:
Morris Brown College is a private coed liberal arts college, founded in 1881. The campus is located in Vine City Community of Atlanta, Georgia. The college is affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church. The college offers excellent facilities for the students. The college provides excellent environment for study. The college offers excellent sport facilities like basketball, football, tennis, cross country. The students are offered all kinds of counseling like legal, health clinic and personal & psychological. The students of Morris Brown College participate in several activities like theater, chorale, jazz ensemble, dance and band, mock trial and debates. These activities help in the overall growth of the students. These activities enhance the communication and other soft skills of the students.
Course Details:
Morris Brown College has three academic departments, the general education program, management entrepreneurship and technology program (MET) and organizational management and leadership program. Management entrepreneurship and technology program (MET) is designed to expose the students in various management environments. The students will be trained in all the technical skills required in the working environment. Organizational management and leadership program is meant for the working professionals who have already completed an Associate degree or partially completed a Bachelor degree.
Admission Procedures:
The students can download application from the website for admission in Morris Brown College. The students can also call the college authority to obtain the application form. The freshmen students will require to produce official high school transcript, SAT/ ACT scores and two letters of recommendation, copy of birth certificate, copy of social security card and an application fee of $30. The students will have to submit a personal essay. The transfer students will have to submit an official copy of all college transcripts.
Accommodation facilities:
Morris Brown College offers on campus housing. There are about 700 housing facilities available. The students are also allowed to stay in off campus housing. There are more than a few off campus housing options like apartments, houses, rentals etc. The students can arrange their accommodation in accordance to their budget and taste.
