Indiana Institute Of Technology also popularly known as Indiana Tech. It is a private college established in the year 1930. It is located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Indiana Tech is a for –profit technical college. In 1963 the college got its present name from the earlier Indiana Technical College. Indiana Tech is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It is officially approved by the U.S. Office of Education. Indiana Tech consists of the following colleges, they are: College of Business, College of Engineering & Computer Sciences, College of General Studies, and College of Professional Studies. The Indiana Institute Of Technology takes part in many athletic programs and has many students clubs and organizations. The mission of the institute is to provide learner’s career focused programs which would prepare them to get jobs in the industry fields. Accommodation Facilities:
Indiana Tech provides on-campus accommodation. There are four residence halls on campus they are Pierson Center, Kalbfleisch Hall, Evans-Kimmel Hall, and Yergens-Rogers Hall. All freshmen live on-campus. Students can apply for the housing through the online application forms. The rates vary but they are generally affordable by the students. Students can request for specific room mate. Otherwise the housing authorities are going to decide on the room mate. Students are allowed to have a car on campus.
