East Central Community College an appendage of Mississippi Virtual Community College is dedicated to providing quality education and training at various levels. With over 2500 full time students, 1800 online students and more than 18,000 participants in its workforce training programs, Mississippi ECCC is a dominant academic and technical institute in the areas of Scott, Winston, Newton, Leake, and Neshoba. East Central Community College Programs
Mississippi ECCC courses are categorized into career programs and technical programs. The career programs are all of short term duration and are trade specific. On satisfactory completion of these training courses a candidate is awarded a certificate. Career program subjects include welding, cosmetology, cosmetology teacher, residential carpentry, and training.

Admission to ECCC Decatur
Decatur ECCC admissions leading to Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees are open to candidates having GED (General Equivalence Diploma) or high school diploma. Non – GED candidates could undertake GED classes at ECCC Decatur in Mississippi. All candidates enrolling for any study program in this academy must have attained the age of 18. Candidates applying for short term certificate programs must attend an interview with an admissions representative.
Student Services
East Central Community College student services encompass a lot of activities. Enrolled students could become choir members or members of Wall O Sound Band or Drum Line. Those interested in sports might be motivated by football, softball, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, and golf. Students have free access to the campus library and bookstore.
