Introduction:
In the year 1996 in East Hartford, Connecticut Training Center, Inc. was set up as a community based non-profit 501 (c) Institution. The organization prepares students for specialized careers in the medical, technical, education, and business fields. CTC boasts of contemporary infrastructure and a network with the business community. Connecticut Training Center is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. The institute offers diploma programs in office assistant, patient care, child care and nursing. CTC provides workshops and counseling services to assist students with placements which start by building a suitable profile for the student. CTC is endorsed by employers across the states, while graduates of the institute are able to find competitive positions in the industry.

CERTIFIED NURSE AIDE CERTIFICATE PROGRAM:
provides the student with the necessary knowledge and skill to work as a competent nursing assistant. The program has been approved by The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health.
PROFESSIONAL OFFICE ASSISTANT DIPLOMA:
the objective of this program is to train individuals to effectively run spreadsheets, desktop publishing, process information and fit into the modern automated office environment.
PATIENT CARE ASSOCIATE DIPLOMA:
trains a patient care professional to handle tasks of the medical technicians and nurse aides. Anatomy, physiology and medical terminology is part of the course.
CHILD CARE SPECIALIST:
to offer professional child care either at home setting or at a center. Over 52,000 professionals have earned this degree from CTC.
Admission Procedures:
At CTC, completion of the admission form and interview with a admission representative are the main requisites to start the admission process. High school diploma or GED is essential. In the absence of these documents the applicant has to undergo the Ability to Benefit Test. A refundable application fee of $25 has to be rendered also. Non matriculated students are allowed to opt for single courses. Application for admission can also be made online.

The college does not provide student housing facility. However apartments and lodging facility is available around the institute for students.
